The meeting of the joint control group of the supreme audit institutions of the Eurasian Economic Union countries took place on June 3 at the Supreme Audit Chamber of Kazakhstan.
The main topic is the verification of compliance by the financial state bodies of the EAEU countries with the Protocol on the procedure for crediting and distributing amounts of import customs duties (other duties, taxes and fees having equivalent effect), as well as their transfer to state budgets.
Ardak Tengebayev, a member of the Supreme Audit Chamber, welcomed the participants of the meeting. During the event, the main aspects of conducting a joint audit event and further plans within it were discussed.
Following the meeting, the representatives of the parties expressed gratitude for the organization and support of the audit event, and also indicated their readiness for further cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
According to the unified program, control is currently carried out at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Then it will continue in the authorized bodies of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The results of the control event will be announced at the joint board of the supreme audit institutions of the EAEU countries at the end of this year.
