The Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan has been elected an independent auditor of the International Anti-Corruption Academy

Kazakhstan has been nominated for the position of an independent auditor by the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) for the first time for a three-year period.

The International Anti-Corruption Academy is an educational organization dedicated to training representatives of governments of different countries in modern methods of combating corruption. The Academy is based in Laxenburg (Austria). It includes 80 UN member states, including Kazakhstan, as well as international organizations.

Currently, a representative of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan Lyailim Kashimova, together with colleagues from Russia and Thailand, is auditing financial statements for 2023 at the IACA office.

The results of the audit will be presented at the end of this year.
