Announcement on holding a tender for the construction of generating units being put into operation again under the project for the construction of a thermal power plant (CHP) in Kokshetau

Hereby, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 15-6 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Electric Power Industry”, announces a tender in 2023 for the construction of generating units being put into operation again (hereinafter referred to as the tender) under the project for the construction of a thermal power plant (CHP) in Kokshetau, and invites potential investors to participate in this tender.

The start time for accepting applications for participation in the tender for the construction of generating units being put into operation again (hereinafter referred to as the application for participation in the tender) is 09:00 on February 13, 2023, Astana time, the closing time for accepting applications for participation in the tender is - 15:00 March 15, 2023 Astana time.

The tender is conducted in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On the Electric Power Industry” and the “Rules of the tender for the construction of generating plants, newly commissioned”, approved by Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 20, 2015, No. 110 (registered in the Register of State Registration of Regulatory Legal Acts under No. 10535).

Tender documentation for the construction of generating units being put into operation again, on the basis of which the tender is carried out, is published on the Internet resource of the authorized body at the link (https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/energo/documents/details/393373?lang=en) .

On January 31 of this year, a meeting of the tender commission was held to summarize the results of the tender for the construction of generating units being put into operation again under the construction project of the Kokshetau CHP. Due to the lack of applications for participation in the tender, the tender commission decided to recognize the tender as invalid.
