My Independent Kazakhstan is my home, my Homeland!

Every citizen of Kazakhstan remembers the significant day, December 16, 1991, when we gained independence. Thirty years have passed since that day.
As we know, our country has a rich history. It took a long time to gain its independence. Our ancestors fought with blood and sweat for the freedom of our Motherland. At first, they defended the lands from the raids of the dzungars. During the period of tsarism, our people saw injustice on the part of the rulers. During the Great Patriotic War, being part of a single country, tens of thousands of heroes from Kazakhstan showed courage and will to a common victory. Our people have known grief and loss, misfortunes and troubles, and it is thanks to these people that we live in a free and independent state.
Today Kazakhstan is a unified, secular, democratic, sovereign state. We have not forgotten the past, we remember and are proud of our ancestors who protected our homeland with honor. Today the world has changed so much that people live under a peaceful sky, make plans for the next ten years, declare themselves about their rights.
The people put a truly wise man and a subtle politician at the helm of such a large state - it was our first President N.A.Nazarbayev. Thanks to him, we have achieved stability and prosperity.
After the thirty-year rule of Nursultan Nazarbayev, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev assumed his position on March 20, 2019. Nazarbayev retained the post of Chairman of the Security Council, head of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan and other positions. In addition, he still heads the ruling Nur Otan party, and also remains a member of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan. K.Zh. Tokayev has repeatedly stressed that he aims to continue and develop the policy of Elbasy.
Now the XXI century is the century of a new generation, which will become the backbone of the young state. The state of the new millennium needs educated, active people. The future of the state will depend on us. «Kazakhstan needs an intellectual revolution that will awaken and realize the potential of our nation» N.A. Nazarbayev says.
Every decent citizen should study and work for the benefit of the state in order to contribute to the development of our motherland, the Republic of Kazakhstan. My Independent Kazakhstan is my home, my Homeland!
