Vice-Minister of National Economy Bauyrzhan Kudaibergenov and Zsuzsanna Hargitai, Managing Director of the SME Finance and Development department of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), signed an interdepartmental cooperation agreement on the implementation of the Business Advisory Services Program for SME enterprises.
A number of successful projects have been implemented in Kazakhstan with the participation of the EBRD, which have contributed to the development of a diversified, sustainable, and inclusive model of economic growth for the country.
The document covers issues of further entrepreneurship development in the country, including through a number of activities and support instruments that have proven their effectiveness. One of the main goals of the EBRD programs is the creation of a competitive, diversified, and inclusive private sector, as well as job creation and added value.
Bauyrzhan Kudaibergenov emphasized that within the agreement, the main focus is on competitive medium-sized businesses, with the aim of bringing them to a qualitatively higher level and increasing their efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness.
