Rustam Karagoyshin became the head of Baiterek Holding Company

Nurlan Baibazarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented a new head - Rustam Karagoyshin - to the staff of Baiterek National Management Holding Company.

Rustam Karagoyshin was born in 1983. He graduated from the Kazakhstan Institute of Management, Economics and Forecasting and the International Academy of Business. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration.

He started his career in 2004 in Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC (a subsidiary of Baiterek NMH JSC), where he worked as a manager, chief manager and head of department of project analysis department. From 2007 to 2011 he was transferred to the position of Managing Director - member of the Management Board of DBK-Leasing JSC.

From 2011 to 2015, he worked as Head of the Foreign Economic Activity Division of the Oil and Oil Products Marketing Department of Petroleum Operating LLP, Chairman of the Management Board of Credit Systems LLP, Deputy General Director, General Director of Sberbank Leasing LLP.

From 2015 to February 2019, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KazAgroFinance JSC.

From February to May 2019, he was General Director of Grain Consortium of Kazakhstan LLP.

From 2019 to 2021, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Baiterek NMH JSC, including as a member of the Board of Directors of JSC Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund and a member of the Board of Directors of Development Bank of Kazakhstan JSC.

From 2021 to 2024, he held various positions in the private sector.
