How the "Auyl - Yel Besigi" programme is implemented

Goal of the project is to improve the quality of life of the villagers by modernising the infrastructure and bringing it up to the parameters of the Regional Standards System.

Within the "Auyl - Yel besigi", the republican budget finances projects in the following areas:

education (school extension construction, renovation of schools and kindergartens)

health care (primary health care facilities)

engineering infrastructure (equipment, heat, power supply facilities and water, heat, gas and power supply networks)

transport infrastructure (intra-village roads, street lighting)

culture (clubs, cultural centres, museums, libraries)

sports (sports and recreation centres, sports complexes and sports facilities)

Social welfare (convalescent center)

There are currently 6,286 rural settlements in the country

Selected 3.5 thousand villages with development potential, where 93 per cent of rural residents live

Between 2019 and 2022, N326bn has been disbursed and over 3,700 projects have been implemented

Upgraded:

334 housing and public utilities:

1.2 thousand social infrastructure facilities

Over 2,200 transport infrastructure projects

In 2023, it is planned to implement 1.8 thousand projects in 771 villages for the amount of almost KZT 200 billion.

Since the implementation of the programme "Auyl - Yel Besigi" the volume of financing from the republican budget has increased almost 7 times.
