7 billion tenge to support rural areas: Erlan Sagnayev discussed business support measures with residents of the Zhualynsky district

On September 18, Vice Minister of National Economy Yerlan Sagnayev met with residents of the Zhualynsky District in the village of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly in the Zhambyl Region. The meeting focused on issues of state support for the population, entrepreneurship and rural development, and infrastructure projects.

The Zhualynsky District maintains positive socioeconomic development momentum. From January to July 2026, agricultural production amounted to 20.5 billion tenge, and investments in fixed assets amounted to 7 billion tenge.

In 2026, 7 billion tenge has been allocated to support residents of rural settlements in the Zhambyl Region as part of the "Auyl Amanaty" project. The funds are being used to implement entrepreneurial initiatives, develop agriculture, and create new sources of income for the population.

The development of rural infrastructure was also discussed. Under the "Auyl - El Besigi" program, 4 billion tenge was allocated for projects in Zhambyl Oblast in 2025. A total of 72 projects worth 18.1 billion tenge have been implemented under the program. Four projects have been completed in the Zhualynsky district, including the construction of school extensions and community centers, as well as the reconstruction of sports schools.

Small and medium business support was also discussed during the meeting. According to the results of January–July 2026, approximately 5,900 SMEs were operating in the district. Entrepreneurs can take advantage of government support measures, including financing and subsidies.

Yerlan Sagnayev recalled that the Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC continues to develop mobile front offices as part of the Unified Small Business Support Program "Isker Aimak." They operate in all 17 regions, with the exception of Astana, Almaty, and Shymkent, providing residents of remote communities with access to consultations on government support measures. To date, 25 residents of the Zhualynsky District have received consultations. Residents actively inquired about current issues of lending and business financing, the conditions for receiving government support under the "Auyl Amanaty" program, and the availability of support tools for small and medium-sized businesses. They also discussed the implementation of entrepreneurial initiatives, the development of new businesses, and improving the accessibility of government programs for district residents.

Residents also highlighted issues related to infrastructure development and community improvement, the quality of public services, and the availability of government support measures.
