Salary in the 1st guarter of 2022

In the 1st of 2022, the average monthly nominal waqe per employee amounted to 268,3 thousand tenqe and increased by 25,4% compared to the corresponding period in 2021, in real terms it increased by 14,0%.

In the sectoral structure, highest wages are observed among industrial workers – 414,2 thousand tenqe, which is 54,4% higher than the average regional level, professional, scientific and technical activities – 295,2 thousand tenqe (by 10,0%), financial and insurance activities – 281,2 thousand tenqe (by 4,8%).  The lowest wages are noted among workers providing other types of services – 131,1 thousand tenqe, which is lower than the average regional level by 51,1%, arts, entertainment and recreation – 149,9 thousand tenqe (by 44,1%), operations with real estate – 154,2 thousand tenqe (by 42,5%), activities in the field of administrative and support services – 165,4 thousand tenqe (by 38,4%), provision of accommodation and food services – 169,3 thousand tenqe (by 36,9%).

In the regional context, the highest wages were in Ayagoz district – 338,4 thousand tenqe, the city of Ridder – 317,7 thousand tenqe, in the Zharma district – 308,6 thousand tenqe andin the city of Ust-Kamenoqorsk – 304,3 thousand tenqe; low – in Kurchum, Beskaraqai, Katon-Karaqai districts (28-32% below the average level in the region). In other regions, its size ranged from 181 to 263 thousand tenqe.

In the 1st quarter of 2022, the average monthly salary in the region was 6,0% lower than the republican indicator.

The average monthly nominal salary of one employee 3p determined by dividing the actual number of employees and by the number of months in the reporting period.

In accordance with international standards, the average monthly nominal salary of one employee is formed taking into account surcharges. Allowances, bonuses, as well sa taxes and other deductions (income tax, mandatory pension contributions).
