Today, a briefing will be held at the site of the Regional Communications Service on the topic: "A unique project is the festival "Folk-symphony Kokshetau" of the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ukili Ybyrai."

From May 23 to June 04, 2023, the Akmola Regional Philharmonic named after Ukili Ybyray holds the first festival "Folk-symphony Kokshetau", which will combine three musical directions – folk music, symphonic and pop-jazz. The synthesis of these directions will allow for the mutually beneficial enrichment and development of different genres of music.

In Kokshetau, along with the philharmonic groups, the best ethno-musicians from different regions of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries will perform – folklore groups of multi-instrumentalists, ensembles and soloists promoting folk music, pop-jazz and symphonic music.

"The Folk-symphony Kokshetau festival will not only preserve and revive our national and spiritual values, but also develop a rich folk musical heritage," said Aigul Sabitova, head of the Department of Culture of the Akmola region.

Composer, multi-instrumentalist, master of throat singing Yedil Kusayynov, kuishi, master of making ancient instruments Azamat Bakiya, singer, performer and author of short songs Chyltys Tannagasheva shared their opinion and expressed gratitude.
