Energy-saving technologies and fire-resistant materials are used in the building of the city akimat, there are also fire extinguishing systems and access control on all floors. In addition, a lot of work has been done on seismic reinforcement and earthquake resistance of the building, taking into account international standards.

"In the process of dismantling during the reconstruction of the akimat building, certain difficulties were discovered. For example, in a fire, several plates lost their strength and had to be poured and reinforced in a new way. A large amount of metal was spent as part of seismic reinforcement work, now these works are not visible, but in an emergency, strong structures will allow the building to be preserved," said Amirzhan Nabiyev, general contractor, director of the construction company Atrix-Stroy LLP.
