About the structural changes in Almaty city akimat

The structure of Almaty akimat undergoes following changes, due to approval decision of the maslikhat on the city management scheme (dated 04.03.2022) and the akimat resolution on the reorganization and renaming of the structural divisions (dated 09.03.2022),
- the department of Social Welfare has been reorganized by separating the department of Labor Inspection;
- the department of strategy and budget has been reorganized by dividing into the department of Finance and the department of Economy;
- the department of creative Industries has been transformed into the department of Youth Policy with the expansion of the functions;
- the department of energy efficiency and infrastructure development was renamed the department of Energy and Water Supply;
- the housing policy department has been renamed the Municipal Infrastructure Development department;
- the Department of green economy was renamed the department of Ecology and Environment;
- the department t of a comfortable urban environment – in the Construction department;
- department of Public Health renamed to the Department of Public Healthcare.
