How Nauryz celebrations will take place in Almaty
As part of the celebration of Nauryz in Almaty, more than 80 different events are planned to be held in all districts of the city. Residents and guests of the metropolis will enjoy concerts by local artists, national competitions, theatrical performances and shows.
The main of them will be held on March 21 from 11.00 to 17.00 on Panfilov, Zhibek Zholy and Tole Bi streets, where more than 50 architectural forms and installations will be installed. Pedestrian streets will feature stylized yurts, an artisans' fair, a restaurateurs alley, exhibitions of artists and children's areas.
On a small stage at the intersection of Panfilov and Karasai Batyr streets from 11.00 to 17.00, students of the Almaty Music College named after A. P. I. Tchaikovsky, children's creative teams and DJs, the school of Diana Sharapova and circus artist Murat Muturganov.
On Zhibek Zholy Street, from 11.00 to 17.00, the concert program "Almaty Auenderi" of the international children's festival "Boztorgai", as well as performances by DJs, creative youth and interactive activities with the audience are planned.
On the square in front of the theater of traditional art "Alatau" from 12.00 to 17.00 a concert program will be organized, a show of national traditions, an evening concert will begin from 16.00.
The main concert will take place on March 21 at Astana Square near the KBTU building at 12.00. The audience will be presented with a theatrical show using various musical instruments - kobyz, drums and daulpaz to demonstrate the wealth, originality and uniqueness of Kazakh culture.
Especially for the show, a musical ethno-folklore composition was written in modern processing. In total, more than 500 artists will take part in the festive concert. More than 100 people will perform on stage at the same time.
Alibek Dnishev, Roza Rymbayeva, Zhamilya Serkebayeva, Rukhiya Baidukenova, Tamara Asar, Parviz Nazarov, Sitora, Dilnaz Akhmadiyeva, Diana Sharapova, Dinaya, Ardak Balazhanova, Aigul Yelshibayeva, Aigul Kosanova, Yerlan Ryskali, Yerbolat Chaldybekov, Ali Okapov, will take part in the production. "KeshYou", show ballet "Blockbuster", dombra ensemble, dance ensemble "Saltanat", group "Saryn", string quartet "Filigram", etc.
Along with theatrical performances, retromotives and contemporary compositions will be presented. The children's choir "Boztorgai" will perform the song "Peace in the World" in Kazakh and Russian, written specifically for Nauryz.
On March 21-22, a concert program with the participation of capital artists is planned on the square in front of the building of the Academy of Sciences of Kazakh Auenderi JSC.
For the convenience of residents, festive events will be organized in each district of the city. A festive concert will take place in the Almalinsky district on March 22 from 12.00 to 17.00 in the park named after. M. Gandhi.
In Auezov, the concert program will be held on March 21 from 11.00 to 15.00 on the square in front of the akimat of the Auezov district.
In the Alatau region, the concert is scheduled for March 22 from 11.00 to 14.00 on the square in front of the theater of traditional art "Alatau".
In the Bostandyk district, a festive concert will take place on March 21 from 11.00 to 13.00 in the amphitheater of the Mega Center shopping mall.
In the Zhetysu region, the concert is scheduled to be held on March 21 from 11.00 to 14.00 in the Gulder park.
In the Medeu district, the concert program is scheduled for March 20 from 11.00 to 15.00 on the square in front of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the Turksib district, the program "Koktem shakyrady" is scheduled for March 22 from 12.00 to 15.00 in the park named after. S. Seifullin.
In the Nauryzbai region, the concert will take place on March 21 from 11.00 to 15.00 along Abay Avenue (from Alatau Street to Taraz Street).
During the celebrations, an enhanced regime will be adopted to ensure maximum security and protection of public order. If necessary, the police will conduct inspections in order to identify prohibited items.
