The improvement of the route «Kokzhailau-Three brothers rocks-Kumbel peak»

On October 25, 2020, BI Group, together with the mayor's office of Almaty and the Ile-Alatau state national nature Park, completed the improvement of the route «Kokzhailau-Three brothers rocks-Kumbel peak», which is about 12 km long.

«It was important not only to develop mountain routes, but also to preserve the existing ecosystem. It is worth noting that BI Group was engaged in the improvement of those trails that are already laid and are popular. All materials used are environmentally friendly», - said the head of the Department of Tourism of Almaty city Sabina Amankeldy.

According to the General Director of BI Development Almaty Aidos Mukatayev, the main goal of the project is to secure the ascent to the mountains for untrained tourists.

For today on the trail installed:

- the pointers of the routes;

- stairs on steep slopes;

- observation points;

- new benches

- gazebos for recreation;

- handrails at the waterfall.

It should be reminded that the project «Paths of happiness» was presented in the spring of this year. According to the head of the holding Aydin rakhimbayev, the company intends to invest 360 million tenge in the development of ecotourism and sports tourism infrastructure in Almaty and in the mountains of the Trans-Ili Alatau. In just three years, it is planned to equip 200 km of Hiking trails.
