On June 9, 2026, the Akim of Bostandyk District of Almaty, A. Kaldybekov, held a regular weekly public reception. During the meeting, residents raised issues related to urban improvement, the condition of engineering infrastructure, road and courtyard repairs, public safety, and social support.
During the reception, residents addressed concerns regarding tree pruning and removal, shrub clearance, cleaning of adjacent areas, renovation of playgrounds, and improvement of courtyard spaces. Issues related to the relocation of green spaces and the sanitary condition of the Kazakhfilm microdistrict were also discussed. Following the review of these requests, relevant departments were instructed to conduct on-site inspections and take the necessary measures to address the identified issues.
Several appeals concerned the condition of road surfaces, parking arrangements, and street repairs. Residents raised issues regarding the repair of internal access roads, the accumulation of rainwater near residential buildings, and the need for medium-scale repairs on several streets within the district.
Appropriate explanations were provided, and responsible departments were instructed to carry out inspections and determine further measures aimed at improving the district’s road infrastructure.
The Bostandyk district Akimat will continue the practice of regular meetings with residents aimed at improving feedback mechanisms, ensuring prompt responses to citizens’ appeals, and systematically addressing issues related to urban development.
