Dear residents and guests of the Aktobe region, the Department of Emergency Situations asks citizens to observe the following safety rules when ice fishing:

                - ice fishing is allowed in the presence of individual life-saving equipment (whistle, lifejackets, life jacket, rope with a diameter of at least 11 millimeters, a length of at least 12 meters, a stick with a length of at least 2 meters, a mobile phone in a waterproof package);

                - when ice fishing is not allowed: punch more than two holes in a limited area, start a fire.

                - to go out on the ice in places where there are signs "Crossing (moving) on the ice is prohibited";

                - the main condition for safe stay on the ice is compliance with the thickness of the ice to the applied load. At the same time, the safe thickness of the ice is at least 10 centimeters for one person, at least 25 centimeters for organizing mass sports and festive events and motor transport crossings;

                - when on ice, it is not allowed: to go out on thin and fragile sections of ice, gather in groups on separate sections of ice, approach washouts, cracks, ice holes, travel by vehicles outside the crossings.

                - it is not allowed to go out on the ice at night and with poor visibility.

                In case of detection of a violation of safety rules on reservoirs, administrative proceedings will be drawn up under Article 412 of the Administrative Code.

Article 412. Violation or non-compliance with safety rules on reservoirs

Violation or non–compliance with safety rules on reservoirs committed by a person responsible for their compliance in the absence of signs of a criminal offense –

entails a fine for individuals in the amount of seven, for officials, small businesses – in the amount of ten, for medium–sized businesses - in the amount of twenty, for large businesses - in the amount of sixty monthly calculation indicators.
