Meeting of the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary with Executive Director of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States in Hungary

Budapest, March 20, 2025 – Abzal Saparbekuly, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Hungary, held a meeting with a newly appointed Executive Director of the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Hungary, Balázs Hendrich.

Ambassador Abzal Saparbekuly congratulated Balázs Hendrich on his recent appointment as Executive Director of the OTS Office in Hungary and conveyed his best wishes for success in his new role. He expressed confidence that Hendrich’s leadership will further strengthen the cooperation between Hungary and the Turkic States.

During the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for enhancing bilateral cooperation within the framework of the OTS. Ambassador Saparbekuly emphasized the significant potential for developing multifaceted collaboration between Hungary and the member states of the Organization of Turkic States.

Ambassador Saparbekuly also reiterated Kazakhstan’s commitment to supporting the activities of the OTS Office in Hungary and expressed readiness to contribute actively to joint initiatives aimed at deepening ties between Kazakhstan, Hungary, and other Turkic nations.

In turn, Balázs Hendrich underscored the substantial achievements of the OTS since its inception and noted Hungary’s strategic interest in fostering closer relations with the Turkic world as part of its "Opening to the East" policy. Hendrich underlined the importance of strengthening multifaceted cooperation.

Hendrich also affirmed his openness to proposals for cooperation and his readiness to work closely with the Embassy of Kazakhstan in implementing joint projects and activities.
